Dear Friend,
We''re excited to announce the release of StageRider 2.0! This is a big moment for us, and we hope you''ll share in our excitement. Even though our software is still in beta and we''re always improving it, this new version brings a lot of cool new features.
New Icons. We''ve replaced the old icons and now you''ll find over 365 items and 660 images in the tool list. There''s a search bar at the top of the list — use it freely. (If you can''t find something, try a different word or synonym. If you still can''t find it, let us know and we''ll expand the list.)
New Sharing Feature. Now, you can not only make your digital technical rider public and share it as a link, but also share it via email. If the other person (promoter, organizer) registers with our system, they can access your riders in the "Shared with Me" menu. They won''t be able to edit it.
User Interface Update. We''ve given our entire interface a makeover to make it simpler and cleaner:
- Riders and Templates — Create your own rider template, download it, or share it like a traditional rider; or create a rider dedicated to a specific event based on one of your templates.
- Drag and Drop — Simply drag your items onto the stage.
- Icon Positioning — Right-click an icon to bring it forward or send it backward.
- Minimum Stage Size — To make sure you have enough space.
- Automatic Channel List Editing — Double-click an icon to edit the channel list on the right.
- Manual Channel List — Create your list the classic way under "Custom channels".
- More Contact Options — Add your main contact at general info (shown in the PDF footer) and additional contacts on the contact tab.
- New PDF Generation — Stage plot and channel list now fit on one compact page.
Important note: Since we''ve replaced the old icons, your existing riders are affected. We''ve auto-replaced every old icon, but due to different sizes and layouts, please log in and check your riders — you may need to nudge a few icons.
If you experience any issues, please write to hello@stagerider.io.
Warm regards, The StageRider Team
