FAQ
Common questions.
What is StageRider?
StageRider is a Startion workflow app for requesting, reviewing and coordinating riders between venues, organizers, artists and production crews. It replaces scattered emails and chat threads with one structured production workflow.
How is it different from ArtistRider?
ArtistRider is the artist-side workflow for creating stage plots and technical riders. StageRider is the venue and production-side workflow for requesting, reviewing and coordinating those riders. They're designed to work together as part of the Startion ecosystem.
Can venues request riders?
Yes. Venues, festivals and organizers can send structured rider requests to artists or managers — with custom fields, deadlines and required sections.
Can teams collaborate?
Yes. FOH, monitor, stage and production crews can comment, assign and approve sections of each rider with role-based permissions.
Is it mobile friendly?
Yes. StageRider works backstage, in the office and on stage — review riders, leave notes and approve from any device.
Can artists submit riders without accounts?
Yes. Artists open the shared request link, fill in or attach their rider and submit — no account required for one-off submissions.
How do approvals work?
Each rider moves through clear states — pending, review, approved, finalized — with role-based sign-off and a full audit history of who approved what and when.
Can I share workflows publicly?
Yes. Coordination links can be shared with venues, crews or vendors. Editing is role-scoped, so visibility doesn't mean edit access.
